In every PTMs at school, my teachers complained to my mother that he is bright but he never pushes himself beyond the limits. If he will push a little bit, he will go a long way. Honestly, I didn’t care much in those days on insisting either by my parents or my teachers. I worked hard only during exams. The habit continued till I failed, and failed miserably.
This was the time I realized, donkey’s can work hard as well, but we as humans, need to work smartly. With due course of time, I developed a habit of combination of hard and smart work, the results started to flow.
I failed again, as a professional, but I learnt to recover faster than the time I took in failing. I adopted to change and this agility gave me an edge. I developed some habits which motivates me and keeps me at peace on a daily basis. I continue to do that consistently and fortunately I was/am able to deliver results. Touchwood
Over a period of 14 years (the last PTM we attended was in 2007) I understood two simple things of life –
#1 If you fail, adopt quickly to the change. Push yourself beyond limits, work smartly and blend it consistently. The magic happens.
#2 Parents and school teachers are never wrong.
Everyone will have flaws, but always try a bit to become a better version of yourself.
