I sit and look back in the Rewind Mode for 2022 with a smile on my face. It was clearly a year that made my foundation stronger. I grew my professional outreach and personal strengths even more deeper and a step ahead towards the destination, I wish to reach someday.
Having set a target of reading 1 Book Per Month, I achieved 8/12 of my target, mathematically 66.66%. Probably, shy of the Incentive Mark in Sales Terminology. Hence, I have kept the bottom four cells in the picture empty.
I kicked off my year with a Birthday Book Buy of the Tata Stories by Harish Bhat and had a fantastic time reading timeless Tata tales, while ending the year with Ashneer Grover’s Doglapan. Two very different stories but so intriguing and fascinating. I completed this book in one sitting itself. My respect for Ashneer grew leaps and bounds after reading the book, seeing how simple he tries to keep his life and his products. His closeness to his family seen through his lens and words makes me believe more firmly that the closer you are to your family, the higher you can fly. In the book as well, he is as transparent as we see him speak at any point of time. It was one blockbuster movie kind of a book. Not only gave clarity but good learning from the book, best to implement it in real life.
In the midst of the year, were some nail-biting finishes by Ashwin Sanghi. I must say I thoroughly enjoyed the Private Series and the new book. I must admit what thrilling writing, it was!
Well as they say, if you aim for the moon, you may hit the star. Reading surely helps gain perspective. I don’t know what 2023 has stored in for me, but one thing I’ll do for sure is – Read More Books!

PS – Out of the context, today is the birth anniversary of two people who I admire a lot in my life – Mr. Ratan Tata and Mr. Dhirubhai Ambani – two very contrasting people but always worked for the betterment of our country, raising India’s flag higher globally throughout their life.
