“A man must be big enough to admit his mistakes, smart enough to profit from them, and strong enough to correct them.”, I read a quote and it has stuck with me.
Mistakes happens. And it happens at every age, every level and every stage of your life, professional and personal.
None of us know all. Some of them fear taking the step and some of them are willing to take the risks. You win a few times and you learn the other times.
Mistakes are bound to happen. The biggest lesson of my life that my dad gave me when I failed in college, “Son, find at the same place you lost your thing, never go away unless you find it”
Not only in my college life, I have made mistakes in professional life as well. For one of them which I did a few years ago, I had to pay a price, but that was the biggest lesson learnt.
You learn. You grow. From your mistakes.
On a lighter note, never commit the same mistake twice.
You can get bogged down through your mistakes. But, you can also rise from the Ashes like a Phoenix from that as well.
Choice is always ours on what road to take. It’s good to make new mistakes but at the same time, learn from it.
